Lion Mask!



First is the original clay model and the second picture is the plaster mold from the cast. This isn't the final product; I'm hoping to use a resin mixed with brass or copper powder to get it more of a metallic look. It won't be as easy as it sounds, but it is worth a shot.

  1. This sounds like it would be cheating to me, but I believe it would work.. They sell all different tones of metallic spraypaint at wally world! lol

  2. I guess you could look at it that way, but many sculptors do this because it is cheater then spending the money on metal (which can get very expensive). Also it is stronger and you don't have to worry about if the mask falls.
